Initial Consultations

The important part of initial meetings is to listen what our clients say. We cautiously listen, and really listen to accommodate and implement all their goals. We strive and bring their dream home to a reality. We carefully evaluate their needs as well their limitations, and then, as the design materializes, we can tweak things to suit their needs further, until it perfectly fits their lifestyle, property, and budget.

Design Completion and Review

When all the design elements are in place, preliminary design documents will be printed and evaluated with our client, to make sure everything is complete. This final design will then be signed off as approved by you, and your construction drawings will be produced.

Construction Documents

With a custom designed home, we work with key collaborators in your project, such as your preferred truss manufacturer, steel fabricator, site and structural engineers and other industry professionals to create a complete set of plans ready for permit submittal. Our construction documents include between others, the material type, item numbers, quantity, and cost estimate based on our clients region. Our clients perceive the knowledge and education in helping them to select a contractor for their project.

3D Modeling & Interior Design

Sketch Blue, uses smart design objects, such as cabinets, appliances, doors, windows, countertops and flooring, to quickly and easily create various styles, shapes and sizes of specific manufacturers  so that styles, finishes and other product-specific design details can be accurately drawn and rendered.

In addition, Sketch Blue, maintains an extensive 3D Library of architectural objects and tools making it easy to detail and accessorize our clients designs so that styles, finishes and other product-specific design details aren’t compromised and are accurately rendered.

CAD Tools for Productivity & Precision

We at Sketch Blue, uses powerful state-of-the-art software that includes tools for customization and modification to accommodate our clients’ needs and is a CAD software, compatible to DWG/DXF/PDF with the availability to choose from over 500 CAD details in the premium SSA catalog to overlay on your design.

Plans sets

Construction Drawings, Site Planning, Terrain & Landscaping

Our plans include 3D renderings and virtual tours which help our clients throughout their project and construction. Our drawings help specify all details for permits and building. All views in the project – Floor Plans, Framing, Electrical, Section Details and Elevations have a user defined scale and link to a specific drawing that updates with every change, so our clients get a complete set of drawings including all mentioned. The plans include layering which displays each of the drawing pages to help create professional detailed construction drawings.

The site plan included can be viewed in 2-Dimensional or in 3-Dimensional to show the specific topology, including roads, walk-ways, hill and valleys, all with fine detail.  Surveyed topography is imported articulating the terrain for a fine coordination set of plans. For Landscaping, we use a library of thousands of plants with detailed information about each plant, including integrated Hardiness Zone Maps. We at Sketch Blue define a North pointer and automatically set seasonal settings for shadow effects and overlays. Our landscaping plans will also include decking, framing, planking and materials.

Interior Home Design

For kitchen, bath and interior home design; specifically for interior design professionals, we at Sketch Blue communicate projects to our clients with 3D visualization tools, specify materials and produce plan and construction drawings. Realistically we design every detail in 2D, elevation, or 3D perspective views. Select catalogs from a 3D Library with thousands of cabinets, appliances, furnishings and textures.

We at Sketch Blue provide the best interior design software for both 2D and 3D design and visualization. Design in 2D wall elevations, house plan views or in 3D, with the capability to choose from thousands of styles, colors, and materials, to create realistic interiors from our 3D Library and such. Experiment with your interior design ideas using 3D models, virtual tours and advanced design tools.

Floor & Space Planning

We use state-of-the-art technology for space planning, and is achieved by placing and sizing architectural objects in your design. We choose from specific manufacturers (cabinets, appliances, doors, windows, counter tops and flooring) so that styles, finishes and other product-specific design details can be accurately scaled and represented. We may choose to create custom objects (non-manufacturer) or import objects into your plans to accurately represent your designs.
